A Small Studio Apartment / Chalkidiki / 2023
On thie project we tried to reimagine a compact interior as a modern short-term stay studio. To overcome the lack of space and natural light, we utilized an open-plan arrangement and a bright palette to maximize the feeling of spaciousness.
A singular, multifunctional structure serves as the design’s centerpiece, unifying the kitchen and storage areas. Open shelves with varying geometric forms complete the unit, fostering a relaxed atmosphere.
The material palette—natural wood and lacquer set against the original terracotta tiles—offers a new dialogue between contemporary design and local materials.
